MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences based in Bangalore, Karnataka is a premier University formed in 2013 by integration of M.S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre, M.S. Ramaiah Dental College, M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management, and M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in Commerce & Management, Engineering & Technology, Life & Allied Health Sciences, Dental Sciences, Hospitality Management & Catering Technology, Art & Design, and Mathematical & Physical Sciences.

Programmes

 The undergraduate programmes offered are B.Tech, B.Des, B.Com (Hons), BSc (Hons), BDS, B.Pharm, Pharm.D and BHM. The postgraduate programmes are M.Tech, M.Des,M.Com, MBA, MHA, M.Pharm, MDS, and MSc. The doctoral programme leads to a Ph.D. degree in various disciplines.

Admission

The eligibility criteria for all the programs offered in the University have been defined clearly by the University. The admission to the various program is based on the candidates submitting proof of academic performance in the last qualifying exams with the cut-off marks as stipulated by the University. The University also requires candidates to submit qualification in the various Entrance exams conducted by the state and national agencies, such as CET/PGCET/COMEDK/MAT/KMAT and GATE. The University also accepts SAT scores for admission. The admission categories applicable are ‘University Seats’, ‘CET/PGCET’ and ‘NRI / Foreign’.

Direct admission in Ramaiah University is permissible at the discretion of Management and the vacant seats available during the admission process. Applicants who are unable to secure admission under the merit quota satisfying the eligibility criteria may explore the option of direct admission. The Institute offers a host of undergraduate programs in 12 disciplines along with B.Arch., postgraduate degrees in 12 fields of study along with MBA, MCA and M.Arch. and doctoral programs with 17 departments.

The Ramaiah Engineering College Bangalore admission criteria require the candidates to have scored the minimum aggregate percentage as stipulated by the Institute in the last qualifying exam. For undergraduate programs, a pass in PUC or 10+2 level is a must with 45% marks. For postgraduate programs, the candidates should have passed a 3-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks aggregating for all the 3 years. The application form for MS Ramaiah admission 2019 should be submitted along with all the academic certificates as stipulated by the University andthe personal identification documents. The documents to be submitted are, the SSLC / Class X Marks Card, Class XII or PUC Marks card along with UG degree marks sheet for postgraduate programs / PG Degree marks sheet for Ph.D. programs, Entrance Exam Score Card (where applicable), a transfer certificate from institution last attended, a copy of Aadhar Card, and copy of PAN Card or Driving License or Passport.  The application forms should be self-attested and be submitted within 3 days from the announcement of the ISC/CBSE/PUC Board results IN PERSON.

A Migration Certificate is necessary in case of students from outside Karnataka. Applicants for Ph.D. programs will have to submit work-related documents like experience certificate and No Objection Certificate from the employer.

Students falling under the category of PIO/NRI/Foreign must submit copies of the card of citizenship, valid passport/ student visa, and a letter of sponsorship. For academic qualification, a certificate of equivalence for foreign qualification acquired is a must.

The admission department will confirm the admission after due verification of the application and documents submitted. The selected candidates will have to fulfill all the formalities and effect timely payment of the fees as stipulated by the University.
