MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) was launched in 2013 with the amalgamation of M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management, M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy, M.S. Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre and M.S. Ramaiah Dental College. MSUAS endeavors to offer a comprehensive and holistic education to students by focusing on academic studies, academic research, development of skills through training & learning to solve real-life problems,and entrepreneurship.

 Academics

MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The undergraduate degrees on the offer are BHM, B.Pharm, BDS, BBA, B.Sc (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Tech and B.Des. The postgraduate degrees that students can pursue are M.Des, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA in Hospitality Management, MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, MBA in Pharma Business Management, MHA, M.Pharm, and MDS. Students pursuing doctoral programmes will receive Ph.D. degrees.

Admissions

Engineering Admission in Ramaiah University requires applicants to have the minimum cut-off marks in the last qualifying exam, a valid test score from the entrance tests conducted by thestate/government agencies, like CET/PGCET/GATE/COMEDK.
Those who are unable to satisfy the eligibility criteria to secure admission in the B.Tech and M.Tech programs may explore the option of Direct Admission in Ramaiah University in Engineering.
The eligibility criteria for the 2-year MBA program offered at M.S. Ramaiah University mandates the applicants to submit proof of achieving an aggregate of minimum 50% for all the 3 years of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institution. An entrance test score from PGCET conducted by the Government of Karnataka through Karnataka Examination Authority is mandatory to apply for the MBA program. Applicants who do not have the qualifying marks and/or the entrance test score as stipulated may apply for MBA Direct Admission in Ramaiah University under the category of Management Quota.

Students applying for an undergraduate (B.Pharm) and postgraduate (M. Pharm) degrees in Pharmacy are expected to appear for the Karnataka Examination Authority organized entrance tests CET and PGCET respectively. The applicants for B.Pharm are required to have a minimum of 40% marks in the P.U.C. exam or equivalent in Biology/Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (PCM or PCB) or PC & Computer Science/ Electronics as major subjects. The M.Pharm applicants should have B.Pharm or equivalent degree from a recognized Board.

Direct Admission in Ramaiah University in Pharmacy is possible for those applicants who are not able to qualify for admission through the merit quota.

M.S. Ramaiah Medical College offers a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT). Applicants who are not able to satisfy the eligibility criteria for general admission may opt for Direct Admission in Ramaiah University in BPT.
