The MSRIT has clearly defined the eligibility criteria for application to various programs offered. The admission criteria for MS Ramaiah admission for the 4-year Bachelor of Engineering program include a pass in 10+2 or 2-year PUC in Karnataka or equivalent from any recognized Board. The candidates must have studied Mathematics and Physics as mandatory subjects along with optional subjects in Biotechnology/ Electronics/Computer Science/Chemistry /Biology. The applicants must have an aggregate of 45% for applying under the General category. Candidates applying under the OBC or SC/ST categories must produce pass certificates with a minimum aggregate of 40%. The grades scored in KEA/COMEDK exams will be considered for selection of candidates.
Ramaiah University Bangalore admission for the 5-year Bachelor program in Architecture requires the applicants to have passed the 10+2 level or the Karnataka Board PUC or equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% with English as one of the languages. The candidates are also required to have scored 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Additionally, the Institute also stipulates that the applicants for B.Arch. program to have scored a minimum of 40% in the entrance exam, NATA, organized by the ‘Council of Architecture'. 40% marks in NATA is also compulsory for applicants under the OBC and SC/ST categories.
The eligibility terms for the 2-year MBA program include a minimum aggregate of 50% marksof all the 3 years of a 3-year Bachelor degree. The minimum is set at 45% for SC/ST or OBC applicants from Karnataka. It is compulsory to have passed in one of the CMAT / PGCET / MAT /KMAT entrance exams. For admission into the 3-year MCA program, a 50% aggregate (45% in the case of SC/ST category) is mandatory with anyone optional subject in Statistics/ Computer Science/ Business Maths/ Computer Applications/ Computer Programming / Business Statistics. A pass in PGCET Or KMAT is mandatory. For M.Tech programs, a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST applicants from Karnataka) in a relevant B.E/B. Tech degree along with a valid GATE /PGCET score is compulsory.
MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology direct admission is recommended for students who fail to satisfy the eligibility criteria defined by the Institute. Direct admission in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is at the complete discretion of the Institute which does not allow third parties/agencies in the admission process.
