The program fees are structured into two parts, ‘College Fees’ and ‘University Fees’. The college fees include Prospectus & Application Fee, Admission Fee, Tuition Fee, SIS Fee, Internet Fee, RFID, Insurance & Miscellaneous Fee, and Miscellaneous Fee. The ‘University Fees’ under the MS Ramaiah Engineering college fee structure include Registration Fee, e-learning Fee, Miscellaneous Fee, Eligibility Fee, and e-consortium Fee. Ramaiah Institute of Technology Bangalore fee structure varies based on the quota under which the admission seats are allocated.MSRIT offers admissions under ‘COMED’K Quota’ for students qualified through the COMED’K entrance exam. Admissions are granted under a ‘Management Quota’. Under each quota, the fees payable is classified for applicants from ‘Karnataka’ and applicants from ‘Non-Karnataka and SAARC country’.Students applying under PIO/NRI/Foreign category have a separate fee structure defined under the ‘NRI Quota’.
The Institute offers fee concessions to students coming under the ‘CET-SNQ’ Quota. The Quota includes applicants applying under CAT – GM, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B), SC/ST and CAT- 1. The SC/ST and CAT-1 are further classified under groups of ‘Income below 2.5 lakhs' and ‘Income above 2.5 lacks'. The admissions under ‘CET Quota' also has a similar classification of categories and groups as in CET-SNQ quota, but with a different fee structure.
The Institute grants admission under ‘PGCET' category for postgraduate programs of MTech, MCA, and MBA. The fee structure is again classified under CAT – GM, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B), SC/ST and CAT- 1. The Income groups below and above 2.5 lacks are considered under SC/ST and CAT – 1 category for deciding the fee structure.
