MS Ramaiah University is unique as it focuses on imparting not just an academic education, but also practical skills to prepare the students to tackle the real-life situations when they step out of the University. The University came into existence in 2013 by combining four separate educational entities belonging to the MS Ramaiah group. The University offers multi-pronged education in Life & Allied Health Sciences, Commerce & Management, Art & Design, Technology & Engineering, Pharmacy, Dental Sciences, and Hospitality Management. The University also hosts an advanced training center dedicated to the development of training skills in various disciplines.
MS Ramaiah University Fee structure
Candidates desirous of seeking admission at the University are required to submit a duly filled in registration form along with demand draft for Rs. 1,000/- in the name of “MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences” towards application fee that is non-refundable.
Ramaiah University fee structure mandates the applicants to pay a registration fee of Rs. 50,000/- for B.Tech program and Rs. 10,000 for other Bachelor degrees in the name of ‘MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences". In the event of successful admission, the amount will be adjusted against the annual tuition fee payable by the applicant. If the candidate is unable to qualify for admission, the amount will be refunded after deducting an administrative charge of Rs. 3,000/- based on a request in writing from the candidate.
Ramaiah University fee structure is made up of Tuition Fee and Student Facilities fee payable on an annual basis. In addition, the University charges a refundable Caution Deposit of Rs. 10,000/-, yearly examination fee of Rs. 5000 plus Rs. 5,000 towards Convocation fee in the final academic year. There is an Alumni Fee that will be payable as and when applicable.
MS Ramaiah fee structure stipulates the fees under NRI quota to be paid in US Dollars based on the average exchange rate or the exchange rate applicable on the date of payment, whichever is higher.
The admission categories defined by the University are the ‘University Seats', ‘CET/PGCET' and ‘NRI/Foreign Quota’.
The Master of Dental Surgery’s applicants are admissible under ‘University Seats' category and ‘Government Seats' category, the fee for which will be as defined by the Government of Karnataka. All the other postgraduate programs are admissible under ‘University Seats', PGCET and NRI/Foreign Quota.
Ramaiah College Bangalore fees structure for MDS degree does not stipulate payment of registration fee. For all the other Postgraduate programs of MBA, M.Sc, M.Com, and M.Tech programs there is a registration fee of Rs. 10,000/- that is mandatory. Only for Master of Hospitality Management, the registration fee is fixed at Rs. 25,000/-.
Admission for Doctoral programs is permissible under ‘Indian National’ and NRI/Foreign categories. The applicants will have to pay an application registration fee of Rs. 1000/- and the fee structure includes only tuition fees. No additional charges are applicable.
MSRIT fee structure for all the programs is announced at the beginning of the admission process (generally in the month of March of a year) on the official website of the Institution.
